Renting Villas on the Costa Blanca

There cannot be many destinations where you can go on holiday (or vacation) to from Britain especially, much cheaper than on the Costa Blanca in Spain. With the new budget airlines almost giving away tickets bought more than a couple of months in advance to either of the Costa Blanca international airports, Alicante & Murcia (actually in the northern Costa Calida) the possibility of taking frequent holidays has become very affordable. Entire families can now visit Spain for less than one hundred UK pounds!

To complete the holiday package all you then need is some good accommodation, either a nice villa or apartment holiday to rent and these are in good supply. Off season two bed apartments can be booked on the Holiday Rentals Costa Blanca for as low as 120 euros (that is less than £100 or 200$), this is the cost for the actual apartment, not per person. So if you follow a few rather obvious rules or guidelines you will then be able to have a nice break in the sun.

The only other major cost once you have arrived on the Costa Blanca is to travel from either airport to the villa or holiday apartment. My own choice is to rent a car as it allows you more flexibility when you are there, but cabs or specialist transfers can be booked on the web so the choice is easy.

With plenty of holiday villa rentals to select from on the Costa Blanca, usually in the old favourites of Alicante, Torrevieja or Torrevieja, great care should be taken prior to booking to ensure a trouble free holiday, even more so if you do not know the town or area. Read the advertisements very carefully and do not assume anything, so if it does not state there is a pool you can be certain there is not one, so if in any doubt please ask before booking.

You should be a little wary of the claims of just how many people the holiday apartment will sleep, I usually recommend no more than two visitors per bedroom and to avoid so called sofa beds in the living room, they are a real nuisance and are inevitably extremelyuncomfortable. Some holiday apartments and villas can supply a babys cot or a fold awaybed for smaller children but may not have the linen for them.

Read up on the resort information also, in fact double check it somewhereelse, do not just rely on what the adverts tell you. Questions should include if the villa is near the swimming pool, local beach, bars, good restaurants and shops. You should also read between the lines, statements such as, "very peaceful apartment" could actually mean it is located in the middle of nowhere or, a "lively resort" may mean it is extremely noisy and sooner rather than later you will need to get some sleep. Follow these tips and you and your party will be able to enjoy a relaxing break somewher on the Costa Blanca.
